PM Modi Leads NDA Leaders in Flag-Waving at Parliament Meeting Ahead of I-Day

PM Modi joins Amit Shah, Nitin Nabin and NDA leaders in hoisting tricolours and raising patriotic slogans at Parliament’s Mangal Milan meeting, linked to Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 ahead of Independence Day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President Nitin Nabin and other NDA leaders in hoisting tricolours and raising patriotic slogans during the weekly ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting at the Parliament Library Building in Delhi.

The gathering was held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium and was linked to the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign, which marks the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram ahead of Independence Day.

The meeting saw PM Modi and other NDA leaders participate in the flag-waving programme, with the gathering drawing attention for its display of national pride. Observers described the event as possibly the first time a prime minister led such flag-waving during a parliamentary party meeting.

Following the gathering at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, the participants proceeded towards Parliament in coordinated steps, carrying forward the patriotic spirit of the meeting.

The event brought together senior NDA leaders as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign ahead of Independence Day, with the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram adding significance to the programme.
